Designing a business you’re stoked about starts here—welcome to The Monday Muse, your weekly guide to business, branding, and creative strategy. 🤸🏼♀️
I had an extra dose of inspiration hit me this week so consider this a bonus weekly musing! But when Black Friday and the end of the year are just around the corner, I just can’t help myself.
Here’s how your gonna make some biiiiiig moves in your business during one of the peak selling seasons of the year:
STEP ONE: Find your Unique Selling Point for the season
What problem do you solve? And not just any problem but what problem do you own (tricky question!). When you own your problem, you shift the way people see your corner of the internet.
STEP TWO: Develop what you need to confidently share it (and of course, make money)
Do you need to take a look at your color palette and spice things up a bit? Develop a tagline that make people go 👀? Create a sales page with copy that is you (and not AI or ideas copied from others in your industry)?
STEP THREE: Take Action
Where the magic happens. We have 52 days until Black Friday and 84 days until 2025! What action are you taking to share what you do and inspire people to also take action in these next few weeks? (The answer is simple, you’re sharing your work, nurturing your dream clients, and maybe offering a lil discount around Black Friday).
When I first started my business, I was pretty much only offering accelerated brand and web packages (ya know, the classic ‘Brand in a Day and Web in a Day stuff).
Obviously, among several reasons, I’ve moved away from that as I don’t believe a template is going to get you where you’re going and a good strategy takes time to create and develop.
BUT
This past week I did a mini brand package in a day for the first time in over a year and it was so lovely. We created a logo, supporting logo/brand marks, a killer tagline, business card, stickers, fonts, colors, and more all from scratch in about five hours.
The deliverables are great and all but what’s more important is she has the confidence and excitement to share what she’s up to with people she wants to work with, has a message that’s rooted in emotion and changes people’s perspectives on what she’s doing, has visuals that are memorable and leave a lasting impression, and has what she needs to accelerate her new business into the next level.
And we can’t forget it was dang cute:

Stoked to see ya on Monday,
